Carolyn B. Hand, Esq.

Carolyn Hand joined Keith Family Law in September 2023.  She is a skilled and compassionate litigator who has represented clients in all aspects of family court matters throughout her legal career.

Carolyn approaches her legal representation mindful that her clients are dealing with difficult situations and hard decisions.  She is attentive to her client’s concerns and delivers results based on what the law provides.

Carolyn has significant trial experience representing victims and survivors of domestic abuse and has successfully tried numerous cases to obtain protection for her clients.  She is passionate about bringing greater awareness to domestic violence issues.

Carolyn is also a mother of an autistic child, and therefore intimately understands the challenges facing special needs families. Outside her practice as a family law attorney, she dedicates time to supporting and advocating for the autism community.

Carolyn is a graduate of Seton Hall Law School.  While in law school she was a semi-finalist in the moot court competition and participated in a study abroad program in Cairo, Egypt where she studied international jurisprudence.  After graduating from law school, Carolyn served as law clerk for the Hon. Donald J. Volkert, P.J.S.C. (retired), Presiding Judge of the Family Part, Essex County.  Carolyn received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Maryland.  She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Morris County Bar Association.   Previously, she was the Managing Staff Attorney for the Morris Family Justice Center.

Carolyn has been recognized in her profession by peers and was selected to SuperLawyers for 2022-2024.
